Composition Basics

Composition - the "art" behind the photo! This class will focus more on the artistic aspects of photography and feature less emphasis on the technical settings and modes. You don't need a DSLR or mirrorless camera for this class. This class is suitable for smartphone photography, point-and-shoot cameras, and bridge cameras.
Workshop is two hours and includes a hardcover edition of Composition Basics for 30 days of hands-on-learning with lessons that include the ability to share your images for feedback. Get to know the elements of composition that take an image from good to amazing!
Composition involves so much more than the "Rule of Thirds." What we will cover in this class:
Bring your own digital camera, or borrow one of ours. Students are encouraged to bring their camera manual, memory cards, fully charged spare battery, and note taking materials. Students are given printed workshop materials to keep for guidance on some of the more technical aspects.
$90 / 2 hours + Hardcover book for 30 additional days of lessons / 14 student maximum
