Learn the Basics of Your Camera
So many dials and buttons… a new camera (or a camera that’s been gathering dust) can be overwhelming. Where does one even begin? In this class, participants are encouraged to bring their own camera, or they can borrow one of ours.
This class is specifically for a new user who wants to know the functions on their camera. A user who has had their camera long enough to already be familiar with the functions and wants to learn how to use those functions to get off Auto mode should enroll in Get Your Camera Off Auto instead of this course.
We will go step by step through all of the common buttons and functions on a DSLR camera and several common lenses, including:
Participants will get the opportunity to try all of the knobs and dials and there will be plenty of time to ask questions.

- Lens stabilization
- Lens release button
- Menu items
- SD card/Formatting
